Like many others... We all have things going on in our life... I have really been working on being the best person that I can be... (Do you notice that TRIALS come your way as your focused in the LORD  !!!! ) I feel like I am being Tested sometimes.. However , having said that I have this ability to GO with the FLOW.. I love the HOPE FLOATS MOVIE where the mom is telling her that she could have CONES all around her and she basically was her own CROWN OF THORNS........Well sometimes I get that. I have  really been focusing on really meaningful things.. LIKE .. What would you REALLY grab out of the house if there was a FIRE !! ! KIDS< PETS< PEOPLE OF COURSE... but what THING ...would you grab.... This little note up here ( I would grab) Its how my little girl feels about me... I love it and look at it everyday !!!!!!!! I have a plate from My daughter .. I would GRAB that and from MY SON .. I have a plaque he gave to me .. That WOULD FIND ITS WAY out of the house......... And my other Daughter  rmade me a frame with Westin's Picture in it .. That would go with me.... ... Just wondering what would you grab? ? ? ?

This year for Christmas .. I told my kids I wanted something meaningful from the heart framed ...they all have talents and can embellish them draw paint .. But that is what I want.. Nothing store bought ... THOSE I WILL GRAB...........

Might look like a little napkin up there .......But what a GIFT she is and what a GIFT that beautiful part of her she gave to me ......... Kids are a blessing...They are my riches

GOD BLESS and be with each of you and have a wonderful weekend.. Thanks for blogging.. WHAT WOULD YOU GRAB?

  2. That is such a sweet note! After my husband and cats of course, I would grab my mason jar on my nightstand that is full of "happy childhood memories" from my grandma. It was a wedding gift and has little scrap pieces of paper with happy memories that we made written on them and folded up. It is my most treasured possession :)

  4. Yes, Sherry, this is the GIFT that keeps on giving!! So precious, from your daughter! Besides the obvious, I would grab a box of my sons cards, school papers, drawings, things he has made, etc. to take with me if possible! Those are the best years of ones child, full of love, laughter and innocence! And I agree, when we focus on GOD more to be a better christian...Satan will bring the attacks! I know that GOD does want to make us stronger, lean on him, so there will be tests from time to time, too! Thank you for the sweet comments and I do enjoy reading your blog..it's very uplifting and pleasurable! If you haven't yet, read my posting (a few back) of Happy girls.....goes along with this! Have a wonderful and blessed weekend! Your friend...Roxie

  5. Our children are such a blessing!!! Love that you asked this question. I've thought of this a couple of times myself. I would grab my laptop where all my photos have been scanned and stored. I also have a backup CD in a little fireproof safe just in-case. And if all else fails ~ I sent all the originals to my daughter. She still enjoys looking through the old albums rather than the computer screen. So as you can probably tell...the irreplaceable photos are what I would want to save the most! :) No children or pets anymore in my household to worry about!
